Don’t force life, Enjoy the unfolding and happiness will appear.

So many times in life we want the other person to be on our schedule. We want our kids to learn how to play the piano like a master in two weeks; we want our dear friends to find true love instantly. The list goes on and on, we always seem to want to accelerate what is not ready to happen.

What I have learned is that everything will happen in its proper time. In other words, when the student is ready the teacher will appear. The student could be you. Say for instance you desire to be able to paint oil paintings but seem to be putting it off. Well this simply means that you are not ready.

When we put our mind to something it is amazing how all the pieces come together. Just last year I was thinking about writing a different book and every time I went to write I would stare at blank paper. The story I wanted to tell wasn’t exciting enough for me to write so I was stalled. Then one evening I was taking a walk and I was thinking about being my best self, I wanted my tomorrow to be better than my today. I knew I had to write about it and here I am. When my mind was ready the words appeared.

So don’t be discouraged if things aren’t moving as fast as you like. Listen to the rhythm of the day. Don’t force a square peg into a round hole. All it means is that you are not ready. When you are ready I promise the teacher will appear. Life works perfectly when we let life work perfectly. So many times we want to force feed ourselves through life. It never works.

We are all on a path to greatness, a path to be our best self, but we must wait until we are ready to learn the lesson fully and then we will be able to receive it fully. The most difficult thing to watch is someone who you know needs help but is not ready for it. It can be very painful to watch, but the reality is, there is nothing you or anyone can do. They must be ready. They must be willing to accept the teachings that lie before them. Until that time, we have only prayer and more prayer.

In life, we all must hit our bottom in order to rise again. Everyone’s bottom is different. No two people are alike, therefore we can’t compare journeys. Through prayer and love, all people can receive what they need to rise to their highest heights. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear!

Don’t let the rhythm of somebody else’s life steal yours. We are all different and we all have our own appropriate time and it’s always God’s perfect time. You never know how the roaring lion will attack!

    1 Peter 5:8 – 9
Be self-controlled and alert. My enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. I resist him, standing firm in the faith because I know that my brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

The scripture says that the enemy, the devil, prowls around LIKE a roaring lion. The word LIKE in this instance means that he is a FAKE! It’s NOT REAL!!! Glory be to GOD!!!!

So, let you be the best you, in God’s timing that you can be.

    Blessings!

Thank you pastor, I thought I have always been ready to learn but as I see it, there are specific times when specific lessons can be learned; when the student is ready. This is a mile-stone orientation for me, learning to take things one at a time when the mind is prepared to learn it. Does it stick to what I learned the other day that the best time is the time one provides for himself? Learning from great minds is something I cherish and it is my definition of living.

Exactly Albert. Understanding that we must take each day on its own, value each day as a full life. This is when we can begin to understand and grow fully without the fear of yesterday or tomorrow
